Bell Choir
The Bell Choir welcomes members of high school age through adult. The choir rehearses weekly during the academic year on Wednesdays from 6:00 – 6:50 pm. We play music that engages members at all stages of of their bell ringing development. Prior music background is encouraged, but not required. The Bell Choir performs for worship every four to six weeks throughout the season.
Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir is composed of adults, high school and up, who provide worship leadership most Sunday mornings at 10:00 in addition to festival Sundays and larger choral works. The music in the service is diverse in scope from a variety of ethnic cultures and traditions. We seek to uphold and preserve the highest standards of integrity within the great tradition of music in the Christian church in the world. Rehearsals run Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:30 and Sunday mornings from 9:15-10:00. New singers are always welcome. Directed by Fred Kiser.
Instrumental
Instrumental soloists and ensembles frequently enrich our worship experiences. First Presbyterian has been blessed to have a wide range of instrumentalists from children and youth to teachers and professors of music. All persons who wish to share their talents in music are encouraged to contact our Director of Music, Fred Kiser.
