The Youth Ministry at First Presbyterian Church is a space where students are invited, accepted and led.

The purpose of the Youth Ministry is to create a culture of invitation where students can feel safe to develop relationships with Jesus and with one another as they explore God’s call in their lives while growing into faithful leaders.

The Middle School Youth meet on Wednesday evenings from 5:30-6:30 pm in small group format. We gather together to explore specific themes and topics using scripture, media, and interactive activities to help generate discussions and connections. We gather to learn and grow together as we deepen our relationships with Jesus and with each other.

Our High School students meet on Wednesday evenings from 7-8:30 pm. We join together with one another as we explore various topics using media, scripture and interactive activities. This time together allows us to connect with each other, learn and grow in our faith and also provides us the opportunity to hit the reset button for our hearts and minds.

In addition to Wednesday night youth activities, we also offer mission trip opportunities in the summer and all generational monthly fellowship events. Students also have opportunities to participate in youth led worship services that are done a couple of times throughout the year.

Our students share in a meal together in our fellowship hall with other students and our adult table parents from 6:30-7 pm. This is a time to pause and share in a meal together while sharing the highlights of our week and answering a question of the week meant to inspire fun conversations with our friends seated around the tables.
